This is an excellent lens to use on an everyday shoot.This is the lens I have attached to my camera about 98% of the time.It has good lighting DOF high capacity, robust, and the best pictures. I would be careful about using the 150-200mm range without a tripod.The object tends to move in your hand at this range and the image comes out blurry. If you absolutely cannot travel with a tripod, I would go the extra $200 and purchase the image stable lens in this rang that Sigma also offers.If you do not want to spend much more for the lens, use a tripod for telephoto, or try to keep the lens, while supporting your arm on something stable. Otherwise, it's an excellent all encompassing lens..

Honestly I wasn't going to get this due to the high price, although I spend a lot on camera gear.That was until I had to shoot Jewelry and decided to use live view on my D700.Actually, you adjust the lighting and focus can be better viewed on a computer screen at the same time (Im a notebook) was tethered to were very helpful. However, my batteries were running out of juice like crazy, I had to keep one on the charger and one in the camera all the time.Live View will suck the life of your batteries. It's just I don't understand why do we have to pay 80 USD for a power cable.I tried to find the product aftermarket, but could not find any, so I had to bite the bullet..

Great for the money! I do, however, miss the regular old viewfinder (esp.when my battery runs low).No way to shoot without the LCD display. I've owned 6 FujiFilm digital cameras over many years.I used to be one of the new cameras will throw me. Some of the features of past Fuji cameras that this one lacks are auto-bracketing and fast multi-image shooting.However ... great images for my dolla...Now I just wish I bought my content, you can connect a wrist strap to either side of the body. .
