I ordered this battery at the same time I purchased a Sony DSC-TX1.I had heard reviews that I would need a spare battery and I didn't know if the reason was because of the battery's life or if it was because of the camera's appetite.However, in some cases, a battery, in my honest opinion, much better than the one with the camera in a box. This is just because instead of a picture that shows the battery's life bar it actually has the remaining amount of time left.In addition, they both seem to have the same amount of battery life. This is a definite must buy for users who like to take a lot of pictures or often find themselves tinkering around with their pocket shooters..
